OLI honoured with COTEC's Innovation in Internationalisation Award
OLI was awarded the Innovation in Internationalisation Prize, in the Small MidCap - Global category, in the 2nd edition of the prize promoted by COTEC Portugal, in partnership with Santander Portugal and the World Trade Center Lisboa. This distinction recognises the strength of our international growth and our ability to turn innovation into tangible value on a global scale.
In this edition of the Innovation in Internationalisation Award, 104 companies from different sectors applied, demonstrating the dynamism and ambition of the Portuguese business community. The finalists were rigorously assessed on criteria such as international growth, export intensity, investment in R&D, productivity, profitability, sustainability and intellectual property, complemented by interviews with company leaders, which made it possible to capture the vision, culture and innovative standards of each organisation.
In addition to public recognition, the winners will benefit from privileged access to the international network of 320 World Trade Centres, present in 93 countries, and will have the support of a team of Santander internationalisation specialists, present in 13 geographies, providing new opportunities for structured growth.
"This distinction is a source of pride for OLI and all our employees, who contribute daily to bringing Portuguese innovation to new markets. We believe that internationalisation is about more than reaching new destinations - it's about growing while respecting each market, each culture and each person who trusts our products. We want to continue taking sustainability, efficiency and design made in Portugal to the world, transforming innovation into real value for society and the sector." says António Ricardo Oliveira, OLI's Board Member.
This award reinforces OLI's commitment to innovation and sustainability as essential axes of our competitiveness and differentiation at a global level, continuing to build a solid path in promoting solutions that transform water into value and raise the quality of life of communities around the world.
We would like to thank COTEC Portugal for the honour and the continued encouragement of innovation, and we would like to say a word of admiration to all the finalist companies: it is inspiring to be part of a generation of Portuguese companies that proves that Portugal innovates, competes and exports with excellence.
